Summary:                    checkpkg: Add flag to allow user selection of
temporary directory
Description: 
In the current version of checkpkg /tmp is always used as the temp space. 
Please add a flag to allow users to select which directory they would like
to use as temp space.  A proposed solution is in the attached patch.

checkpkg version 2.7 honors TMPDIR.
Fixed in 1.14.1,REV=2009.05.25.
