Summary: orca fails to generate text due to pango version
mismatch
Description:
I finally figured out why my orca plots are now with 'ugly' text (boxes
instead of characters). The orca.log has lots of lines like these:
(process:8500): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2253: initialization
assertion failed, use g_type_init() prior to this function

(process:8500): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2253: initialization
assertion failed, use g_type_init() prior to this function

(process:8500): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2293: initialization
assertion failed, use g_type_init() prior to this function

(process:8500): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 819:
assertion `G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed

(process:8500): Pango-WARNING **: Failed to load Pango module
'/usr/lib/pango/1.4.0/modules/pango-basic-fc.so' for id
'BasicScriptEngineFc'

Note the reference to pango 1.4.0. The current installed version of pango
1.6.0
Orca shouldn't be directly referring to a specific version of pango.
I'll continue to dig into this it may be a pm_pango issue.
