Summary:
saslauthd-2.1.22,REV=2007.06.19-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg.gz Fails to create user
account on SPARC
Description:
The saslauthd package 2.1.22,REV=2007.06.19-SunOS5.8-sparc fails to create
a sasl group entry during the install. Then it fails to set permissions of
certain directories to this group.

If a user account is also supposed to be created, one is not.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't have access to a sparc server and I don't reproduce this bug under
i386.

However the sasl package uses CSW class action scripts to create user and
group for some time now. These scripts are common to all packages so it's
unlikely that a bug will only affect the sasl package

So I don't think this bug is current anymore and I will close this bug.
Feel free to reopen it if you still encounter the issue.
