There is a package CSWfontconfig. There is a package CSWfconfig-dev. This package is a stub that depends upon CSWfontconfig-dev. I deduce from this that the package CSWfconfig has been renamed CSWfontconfig. There's a "stub" for the "-dev" version, but not for the stable version. I would think that either you would want to create a "stub" package for CSWfconfig or update the prerequisites for the various packages that have a dependency on it. PS: It would be nice if your filenames and package names were more in sync. For example, the package CSWbdb47 is in the file berklydb47.4.7.25,REV=2009.10.18_rev=p4-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg.gz I would recommend that the package name and base filename be EXACTLY the same. For example, the file could be named CSWbdb47.4.7.25,REV=2009.10.18_rev=p-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg.gz Or the other way around. Anyway, the point is, when you get an warning about a dependency, make it easier to determine which file contains the package you need. ====================================================================== From bug-notifications at lists.opencsw.org Fri Aug 1 09:24:26 2014 From: bug-notifications at lists.opencsw.org (Mantis Bug Tracker via bug-notifications) Date: Fri, 1 Aug 2014 09:24:26 +0200 Subject: [fontconfig 0005195]: Package dependency errors In-Reply-To: Message-ID: <7a5a75b3c55a7ef62d510970b0b2d722@www.opencsw.org> A NOTE has been added to this issue. ====================================================================== https://www.opencsw.org/mantis/view.php?id=5195 ====================================================================== Reported By: damocles Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: fontconfig Issue ID: 5195 Category: packaging Reproducibility: always Severity: minor Priority: normal Status: new ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 2014-08-01 06:14 CEST Last Modified: 2014-08-01 09:24 CEST ====================================================================== Summary: Package dependency errors Description: A number of packages have a dependency on the package "CSWfconfig", but as near as I can tell, there is no package CSWfconfig. If you go to the manual http://www.opencsw.org/manual/for-administrators/getting-started.html you see that the installation procedure is (1) use pkgadd to install pkgutil and (2) use pkgutil to install everything else. Are you following it?
