The problem is that python modules that are installed as dependencies are not for python 2.7 and salt requires python 2.7 to run (because of #!/opt/csw/bin/python2.7 in the main binary). Namely, these modules should be updated to support 2.7: PyYAML pyzmq msgpack-python (because they install into /opt/csw/lib/python instead of /opt/csw/lib/python2.[67]) And CSWpython27 should be also added to dep list. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0010939) dam (administrator) - 2014-10-16 11:16 https://www.opencsw.org/mantis/view.php?id=5190#c10939 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The python modules are usually build for 2.6 and 2.7 (and later probably 3.x), however, the process takes some time. You can see the progress at http://buildfarm.opencsw.org/~maciej/python-modules.html That is also the reason why Python 2.7 is not listed as dependency as you can also use it with 2.6 and we don't have conditional dependencies. Removing the key from the server and knownhosts, modifying /opt/csw/sbin/sshd.smf_wrapper not to generate keys, restarting sshd -> everything changes back to normal. This happens for solaris clients as well as e.g. archlinux clients. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0010940) yann (manager) - 2014-10-18 14:59 https://www.opencsw.org/mantis/view.php?id=5173#c10940 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi schwindt, Good news, I was able to reproduce this problem with last openssh test suite. I then used pkgutil to install mercurial, but it did not work because the python interpreter was not installed. So I used pkgutil to install the python package, which STILL didn't work because it installed python-2.6. I had to explicitly install python-2.7 in order to get mercurial working. ====================================================================== From bug-notifications at lists.opencsw.org Tue Oct 21 16:15:11 2014 From: bug-notifications at lists.opencsw.org (Mantis Bug Tracker via bug-notifications) Date: Tue, 21 Oct 2014 16:15:11 +0200 Subject: [py_numpy 0005209]: some of the regression tests fail In-Reply-To: Message-ID: <3c9d4de56bd1c1a4e6dd9aa68bd37c2d@www.opencsw.org> A NOTE has been added to this issue. ====================================================================== https://www.opencsw.org/mantis/view.php?id=5209 ====================================================================== Reported By: kester Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: py_numpy Issue ID: 5209 Category: regular use Reproducibility: always Severity: minor Priority: normal Status: new ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 2014-09-25 09:51 CEST Last Modified: 2014-10-21 16:15 CEST ====================================================================== Summary: some of the regression tests fail Description: I'm not sure if this is a upstream bug or a problem of the OpenCSW build, however users should be careful not to trust all results given buy this build of numpy.
