I then used pkgutil to install mercurial, but it did not work because the python interpreter was not installed. So I used pkgutil to install the python package, which STILL didn't work because it installed python-2.6. I had to explicitly install python-2.7 in order to get mercurial working. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0011221) rupert (manager) - 2016-12-04 13:38 https://www.opencsw.org/mantis/view.php?id=5213#c11221 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- no complaint any more ... I can try removing all the packages and installing them again if you think it may help. Or I can try again from a fresh OS install. (I just ran a clean Initial Solaris 10 install onto the second disk drive, just in case).
