Unfortunately this seems to be a pkgadd problem.  Every package that I
download on this solaris 9 box fails.  Even a manual pkgadd -d on the
downloaded packages.  I must be missing some pkgadd patch.

Thanks for your help.  I think we can close this unless you have any
insight.
