[csw-buildfarm] mail to external addresses from zones perl10s and perl9s

I see the following in the reject logs on web(mirror):

2011-09-13 18:03:31 SMTP call from perl10s.bo.opencsw.org
[192.168.1.62] dropped: too many unrecognized commands (last was "")

Does a manual connection from the box to web:25 allow you to send a
simple mail?  I can get you the exim config from cswsign to transplant
on that box.  I then use the sendmail relay so that /usr/lib/sendmail
sees mail pushed into localhost:25 via smtp...
