We explicitly do not rely on transitivity and only add direct
dependencies. It was discussed on the mailing list:
http://lists.opencsw.org/pipermail/maintainers/2012-June/016921.html

So checkpkg is merely verifying whether the package adheres to the policy
and tells you the right thing.
