The problem is that distutils (the distutils module which you import
by "import distutils") isn't included in CSWpython, but in
CSWpython-devel instead.  I believe that distutils should be included
in CSWpython.

I've already filed a bug report about this:

However, Mike Watters is on sabbatical, so we can't expect this to
change anytime soon, unless someone else takes over the package.
