If you're doing that, then you're not using "sparse zones" right!

The whole point of "sparse zones" is to SHARE stuff between zones.
especially packages!
The only way to do that, i think, is to install the packages in the global
zone, as far as I know.
you cant have a non-global zone, "inherit" a package, from another
non-global zone, as far as I know.

What is "not clean" about installing the packages to the global zone?
That's the sort of thing that the "autoenable_demons=false" flag is for.
Set it in the global zone, and then basically all you get is a bunch of
files, rather than demons running on the zone.
