Sure, no problem. We have given this issue some more thought during the
Summercamp, please see the wave day 1 "Supported Setups" for some
discussion input on this. Some thoughts from me on this topic in  
general:
- We may have the standard-template for configuration files in /opt/ 
csw/...
which is then copied to /etc/opt/csw/ by cswpreserveconf CAS
- The template file in /opt/csw should NOT be under /opt/csw/etc/  
because
it gives the impression it needs to be copied to the same directory.  
Maybe
   /opt/csw/etc/etc-opt-csw-templates ??
- It should still be possible to have both the template and the modified
file in /etc/opt/csw for easy diff'ing.
