I was just tinkering with the wiki when I saw this about the ads:

"You and members of your sites should not even see them, since we show
ads only to selected visitors, and not to Wikidot users."

I haven't noticed since I block ads on a proxy level anyway but what
do you see when you visit the wiki? A thin line at the top and a
larger one at the bottom, I don't think they are optional but they are
just "ads" for other wikidot sites/functions so they don't bother me
much.

But what I think they mean is that Google Ads merged into our wiki
should not be displayed to members of the wiki. Is that so or not?
When I visit the wiki from Internet Explorer at a Windows machine
(which I obviously otherwise never use) I get the ads.
