Well, there's a bigger problem in that it is using "/opt/csw/var" in
the first place :-/

Other than that, I think the more general question of leaving
directories around, depends on where they are and what is in them.
If it was somewhere else, such as /var/opt/csw, I dont think it would
be much of a big deal.
