[csw-maintainers] Check for the nrpe-like cases

Following up on the missing directories topic and the nrpe case.  The
problem occurs when the three conditions are met:

1. The file is not of the 'none' class
2. It's not a directory
3. Nothing provides the parent directory

I'm thinking of adding a check for this particular condition.  Any thoughts?
