[csw-maintainers] mercurial-1.9, where did it go?

I assume you're running csw-upload-pkg from /opt/csw/bin, it's been
mentioned multiple times on the list that it's an older buggy version.

Run it instead from the gar sources. I have this set up:

alias csw-upload-pkg='~/opencsw/.buildsys/v2/bin/csw-upload-pkg'
