Okay, I'll go down that route.

One more question:

Do we want GCC-4.7 to be installable alongside GCC-4.6 or to replace
it? For now, I'm assuming the latter, because it's easier to do. It's
probably possible to have them both, but it'd require something like a
month of fiddling with it to get it right, so I'm not going there
right now.
