When I double click an attached PDF document TB starts gpdf (GNOME PDF 
Viewer 2.8.3) despite this setting in its prefs.js:

user_pref("helpers.global_mailcap_file", "/opt/as/lib/mailcap");

% cat /opt/as/lib/mailcap
...
application/pdf;acroread -tempFile %s;description=PDF File
...

No personal mailcap file.

Does TB ignore the mailcap file?

Where in GNOME does one tie PDF files to gpdf?
