Xfce hangs like this on all the Solaris10 boxes I ever installed
with CSW. I found that killing the utaudio process helps. You
can restart /opt/SUNWut/bin/utaudio later in the session and enjoy
sound. Only the utaudio that gets started from Xfce session startup
hangs.
