[csw-users] KDE Konsole fonts

Folks--

First off, thanks to all the maintainers and the founders for
providing the Blastwave package repository, it certainly has made my
Solaris 10 experience largely painless.

I have a question about enabling new fonts for the konsole application
in KDE. In particular, I am trying to get the terminal font,
"terminus" to show up in the font selection list. I've done the
requisite googling:
*checked that the bitmap fonts are available to X
  * updated my Xft local.conf
  * forced fc-cache to rebuild the caches
  * restarted the X server software
As the above didn't work, I've also tried:
  * copied them to the /opt/csw/kde-gcc/share/apps/konsole/fonts/ directory
   * then added them to KDE via the "kcmfontinst"
While they do show up in the Control Center list of fonts there is
still no sign of them in the Konsole Settings->Custom menu. I've even
gone so far as to reboot. :-/

I am guessing that I've missed something obvious, but none of my
reading of the various Linux "how-tos" is giving me a cluebat, any of
you folks willing to oblige?

Thanks in advance--
=Nadine=
