This is very odd. I am not seeing this problem on my own system at
home. It's Solaris 10 without zones.

Would it be possible to get a few example configurations from people
where it's slow. Maybe my own setup just doesn't trigger the problem
and that's why I'm not seeing it.

Also, would it be possible for someone to truss whichever process is
slow?
