please check the following

<snip>
ismine~# ps -ef | grep -i dbus
    root  3537  2666   0 18:01:46 pts/1       0:00 grep -i dbus
messageb   476     1   0   Aug 30 ?           0:00 /opt/csw/bin/dbus-daemon --system
ismine~# svcs -a | grep -i dbus
online         Aug_30   svc:/system/cswdbus:default
ismine~# pkginfo | grep -i cswdbus
application CSWdbus dbus - DBus Message Bus System
application CSWdbusglib dbus_glib_stub - Transitional package. Content moved to CSWlibdbus-glib1-2
</snip>

i had a similar error about dbus with xchat and i think i solved it somehow with 'dbus-uuidgen'.
if 'svc:/system/cswdbus:default' is not running a friendly 'svcs -x' should give you some hints.
