cycles?</div></blockquote></div><br>Yes. It is possible to build a set of packages in such a way that there is a dependency cycle, but the cycle won't make it to the mirrors. There is a sanity checker (chkcat by Peter Bonivart) run against every catalog directly after catalog generation. If there are any detected issues, including dependency cycles, the catalog is not pushed out to the mirror.</div>
