Summary:                    star 1.5a75 unable to extract a tar file it created
Description: 
I really do not know how to lock this down to a simple test case.  But it
is absolutely reproducible.

I have a large tar file created with star and extraction fails.

Regardless if I use my own build of star or a binary from CSW I get the
exact same error.

This is theoretically impossible....

Please try the current blastwave backe for star (1.5a80)
and check again.
