Hi Peter,

As we discussed, it would be nice if the emacs packages provided a
site-start (or similar) directory where other providers of .el/.elc files
could place small elisp snippets that see things hooked into the startup of
every emacs instance.

The package already contains the /opt/csw/share/emacs/site-lisp which has
the role that you wish, isn't it?
