Summary:                    copy from 3682 - easy_install pre-sets the compiler,
which cannot be changed.
Description: 
installing PIL, genshi, mercurial, and others does not work seamlessly or
not at all if one has no possibility to create the pre-set path
/opt/studio/SOS11/SUNWspro/bin/cc.

it would be nice to have this path as /opt/csw/studio .... so anybody is
able to set it.
