Summary: service is started automatically regardless to the
state of Sun /usr/sbin/syslogd
Description:
After package installation, syslog_ng service is started, can't run, and
goes into maintenance state. It would be better to do
svcadm disable svc:/system/system-log:default
Before starting syslog_ng.

I don't think this is a bug. If you are going to install syslog_ng, it's
for the purpose to replace the syslogd that comes with Solaris. Therefore,
you should be already aware, that this might occur a conflict.
