Summary:                    using -xopenmp precludes gcc usage
Description: 
when using imagemagick's API and pkgconfig we inherit the -xopenmp flag
which is not supported by gcc.

I wonder if the usage of this option is reasonable for this project.

My recommendation is to remove this option.
