Summary:                    zlib 1.2.4 breaks wireshark (maybe others too)
Description: 
After upgrading a Solaris 10 system running with current/ I could observe
zlib related problems with wireshark just like reported elsewhere:

FS#18061 - [wireshark] packet capture trouble with latest zlib 
http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/18061

For now, downgrading to zlib 1.2.3 helped to fix the problem. There are a
couple of related bugs over at the wireshark bug tracker.

Ben Walton informally reported suspected zlib 1.2.4 issues with libxml2.

and let me know if it still doesn't work (I didn't have any problems with
the small test I did)
