Summary:                    slapd is not built linked to libldap or liblber
Description: 
slapd has not been built linked to libldap.so or liblber.so. These are
required for at least chaining in a provider/consumer config as it calls
func ldap_modify_ext which is in libldap.so

I have finally managed to update our openldap server and I can confirm this
problem has been resolved. Thanks for the fix.
