Hmm. It's not really perfect when a version with a known bug is released.
2.5.1 was released 2011-09-11 according to the web site. 
I got the update to 2.5 at 2011-09-14 via catalog.

Another question is there a web view of the pkgutil repository with diffs
/ patches?
I only found
https://pkgutil.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pkgutil/
but thats only trunk/tags and not very helpful to look at the revision
history?
