The error log tells that there is a problem with the so link.

Ok, I just fired up apache2 + php5 with the supplied php.ini and I have no
issues.  I triggered phpinfo() and get the expected result.

I don't have a solaris 11 system to test this on but I'll try to wrangle
something up...
