The lighttpd.conf template is a modification from an older version of
lighttpd. The proxy.txt is now in outdated and the newer template
references
  http://www.lighttpd.net/documentation/proxy.html
which is also 404. This one seems to be the latest one:
  http://redmine.lighttpd.net/projects/lighttpd/wiki/Docs:ModProxy
Please use that documentation for now. I'll update the configuration file
templates to the latest version on the next version bump. Feel free to also
file a documentation bug upstream.
