The Python web apps throw 500s

In fact we didn’t have an active my.cnf as the previous one wasn’t relocated during the
path changes. I now made a minimal my.cnf with max_allowed_packets and checkkg works again.
Maybe someone with more mysql skills than me wants also to take a look.
