Well, if the update of the packages from the old to the new version works and
you are available for possible needed fixes in the near future than I would say
go for it. Especially important is if after an update the shell comes up if it
was enabled and stays down if it wasn’t. Not being able to login is one of the most
awkward situations… Have you tested this for the different situations?
