It also introduces inconsistencies with, e.g., the pkg/cpan subdir.
Either all these subdirs should be lifted or none at all. I would
prefer we discuss this sort of thing before a single maintainer just
changes it on a vim affecting everyone else.
We have also (previously) discussed using a layering like this:
pkg/
pkg/f/
pkg/f/o/
pkg/f/o/foo
I assume changes in the structure affects GAR so Dago/Ben/Sebastian
should be involved before any change is made, however this change
should be rolled back immediately.
