[csw-maintainers] Python site-packages?

Hi,

I am currently updating libxml2 and noticed that the Python site
package dir has changed from
   /opt/csw/lib/python/site-packages
to
   /opt/csw/lib/python2.6/site-packages

Should the new modules be located in the new location then, or is this
an error?
