that is *exactly* how we do it. :-)

People who write code for the website.. get to "pick their favourite
version control software" for their source code :-)

and sometimes that is SCCS. and sometimes that is cvs. and sometimes that
is "nothing".

Because sometimes, you really  JUST DONT NEED version control.
for a 10 line script, for example.
you just need backups.
