I saw pixman already.  I didn't delve into it.  I forgot the cairo package is libcairo so
anything I have done on that one is not going to affect what you have already done.
the others rcairo, pycairo and cairomm I added to svn and built basic makefiles.
I will remove cairo from svn and stick with libcairo :)

I need cairo for the pycairo,  pygtk is dependent on pycairo
