I found a minor issue with the "new" build8x box.
seems the new box can't resolve DNS

see error below:

mwatters at build8x:~/mgar/pkg
$ svn up python
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svnroot/gar/csw/mgar/pkg'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svnroot/gar/csw/mgar/pkg': Could not resolve hostname
`gar.svn.sf.net': Host not found (https://gar.svn.sf.net)
