Are these catalog- or package-names? catalogname usually contain _ instead
of -, and the current standard uses CSWfoodevel instead of CSWfoo-devel.
That would mean
a/ xfooxproto CSWxfooxproto
b/ x11_fooproto CSWx11fooproto
c/ x11proto_foo CSWx11protofoo
d/ x11proto_foo_devel CSWx11protofoodevel
