[csw-maintainers] checkpkg: Detecting file conflicts (wrt the recent ev.h conflict)

pleae note:
this weekend is my weekend to look after my children, so I've been rather busy.
however, after doing a little research , I have noticed two things:

1. there are existing, non-conflicting overlaps in sone packages that
make checks mote complicated
2. I need to reformat the database table that holds this stuff because
it needs to be case sensitive. Sigh.

this stuff will happen but it's going to take a few days
