We shoud probably set up a specific time of "please make sure if you
wish to run, you have your write-up by time X", and
"voting will close by Y".

Normally one might say "voting should start around saturday noon GMT,
and end sunday/monday GMT", but
since someone expressed a wish of being able to vote "before" the
weekend, that seems to say they will not be able to vote then.

In my opinion, voting needs to stay open for at least two days, and
also allow for monday voting.

So at minimum, voting start saturday noon GMT, closes monday/tues midnight GMT?
