Unfortunately this wish collides with the necessity to build packages
fully automated with "gmake platforms" which builds on all requested
platforms. Additionally, I think it is good if the Makefile contains  
information
about the exact assembly for each platform. Could you please explain
why you don't want to add this information to the Makefile?
