[csw-maintainers] bad interactions with CSWcommon

unfortunately this is some truly ancient mojo back from the first months of csw.

maaaybe Ihsan has an archive somewhere. or James. there are no public ones


I just reread you original email though.

it sounds to me, as though coreutils is attempting to do at an
individual program level, exactly the same thing that is being done at
the system level with cswcommon!

in which case, cswcommon is basically doing the right thing and you
should remove the coreutils symlinks
