i'm pulling out an old garified dir, libgnomecanvas. I updated the GARVERSION, and did a make. it fetched the file. and then bombed out because didnt know how to [...] I had to manually do 'make makesums', and then the make again. so I'd like to suggest that a fetch, automatically calculate the sums.
