wait what?
we've been through this a few times. python files need to be compiled
to a single, consistent place. Altering the dest with numerical
revisions, has caused problems in the past.
Mostly with python-dependant modules/utils.
Unfortunately, I'm not a python expert, so cant explain further... i
just know as release manager, that there were major problems with it,
that adversely affected multiple packages.
