No, the request is fine and I don't mind waiting a week as you
suggest.  I'm just saying that we shouldn't let orphaned packages[1]
impede work on things that people do actively care about.

[1] Especially those that are known broken, have security issues and
    are at legacy versions.  I would consider an orphaned but current
    package differently.
