I dont know that I would describe my position as "against" it. Merely
that I was specifically asked for feedback,and I gave my opinion that
both the copyright, and the abstract, are unnecessary.

Your summary is missing one thing, however, in that someone (I dont
remember who) suggested an alternative license to the GPL.
