I thought that having it in front is what you always do unless you want to
break things.
Is it about /opt/csw/bin/python vs /usr/bin/python? In most scripts I write:
/use/bin/env python2.6
Since there isn't a 2.6 Python on Solaris, this always picks the right
Python on both Solaris and Linux.
